A thread browlift is a procedure that uses barbed sutures, or threads, to address sagging eyebrows and eyelids, deep folds between the nose and the corners of the mouth, and aging neck tissues to help restore a more natural, youthful appearance. A thin needle is used to insert the sutures under the facial tissues. The barbs at one end of the thread grab and lift the sagging skin, while the barbs on the other end anchor the skin to the underlying facial tissues. A major benefit of a thread browlift is that it does not require incisions or stitches, leaving no scars.
The thread browlift technique produces a relaxed, refreshed appearance while preserving and enhancing the natural contours of your face. It is minimally invasive but still achieves results similar to those of a traditional facelift. Performed using a local anaesthetic, a thread browlift does not require a hospital stay, and patients can return home right after the procedure for a quick recovery after about 10 days.
