Introduction | Latisse Eyelash Enhancement | Obagi Skin Transform | Skin Medica Skin Care

Latisse is the only FDA-approved prescription treatment designed for individuals with hypotrichosis, a condition of inadequate eyelash growth. Latisse will make your eyelashes longer, thicker, and darker by increasing the eyelash growth phase as well as the number of hairs in this growth phase.

Latisse is an easy to use solution applied once daily to the base of the upper eyelashes. Results gradually appear within 8 weeks, with full results at 12 to 16 weeks. Side effects, although rare, may include itching and redness of the eyes, as well as irritation and skin darkening of the area around the application site.

Latisse should not be used in place of mascara, as Latisse is a treatment for hypotrichosis and requires a prescription. However, Latisse users can apply mascara in addition to the treatment solution if they choose to.
