Introduction | FAQ

How does Scarless Breast Reduction work?

This procedure uses an ultrasound or laser technology to target the area around the muscles of the breasts. The patient is first given the tumescent (local) anesthesia with IV sedation; a tiny incision is made so that a probe transmitting sound energy can be inserted to liquefy the fat cells. Once the fat has been dissolved, it is removed through a gentle suction process designed to minimize trauma to the surrounding tissue structures such as nerves, blood vessels and other connective tissues.
