Intense Pulse Light

Intense Pulse Light (IPL or BBL) has now proven to be one of the most effective acne therapies available today. In many cases, we can prevent our clients from needing to go on aggressive oral medications such as Accutane or long-term antibiotics. The shorter wavelengths of BBL, in the blue-light spectrum (420nm), attack p-acne bacteria on the surface and in the sebaceous gland. We recommend a series of 3-4 treatments, once every two weeks. Along with a home skincare program designed for acne-prone skin, you can experience significant long-term clearance.

Although BBL works very well in the skin type 1-3, it might not be the best choice for the ethnic skin (skin type 4-6). Laser 1064 nm can be used to achieve similar results as BBL does. LightPod Neo 1064 nm MicroPulse has been proved to very effective acne therapy in all skin types; it is the safest aesthetic laser available for the treatment of acne in the ethnic skin.

ProFractional Laser

The acne scar can be treated with the fractional resurfacing. New ProFractional technology is designed to effectively treat acne scarring and improve skin tone and texture in a fast, comfortable, little down-time treatment.

ProFractional technology is used to remove the outer layers of the skin, burning away scar tissue and stimulating the dermal collagen to tighten, reducing the amount of scar visibility. It creates micro-ablation columns of 250 microns in diameter with the Profile Contour laser. ProFractional can be set for treatment depths of 25 to 1500 microns and treatment coverage from 1.5 to 60%, providing you with the control to offer versatile and precise treatments, with the quality that you expect.

To enhance the results, you may consider combining the MicroLaserPeel with ProFractional resurfacing.
